#05 – No Calls Of JUSTICE
Rewind to yesterday. Woots.
Lessons were kinda boring. Weird, though, the last time I felt like sleeping in a Maths lesson was 2-3 years ago. Primary School Maths. Sure enough almost all weren’t having the study gas as common test were recently over.
One which stands out was PE. Mr Ong didn’t come and so a very unsporty relief teacher came and firstly cancelled our PE but Naufal bargained and believe it or not he got it. He is soo smarter than Patrick. So, nearly the whole of lot of boys, except Harsh
, Zhankuan and Rashid, played soccer like super crazy. Harsh didn’t bring his PE kit thus making him unable to play the beautiful game. So we split up: Me, Naufal, Irsyad, Yik Choong, Edenius, Alfred, Yaohui and WeiJie(Team A) Aaron, Jermaine, Pawan, Joel, Joshua, Clive and Amirul(Team B). We played like our lives depend on it. Yik Choong was rather stupid, fighting for the ball with Naufal, own teamate. Irsyad went like emotionless because he said he felt boring. 2 definitions of boring is being bored as in not even bother and the other is like feeling frustrated. I assume its the latter. WeiJie’s performance was good, 8/10 but if not for his tons and tons of misses, he would have gotten a 10. He played my former role as a camper. Jermaine was marked everywhere he go, knowing what magical talent he has. Joel keep asking other people to kick. Actually he don’t need to pass to them, some official football matches, the defender kick the goal kick. So this makes their defence vunerable, just that WeiJie didn’t want to run for the ball. I played as a winger, switching from left to right, rather than my usual camping role. I assisted a few and scored one, still not my top form but quite pleasing. Everyone was nearly having heatstroke. The heat was a total villian.
So in the end it ended 9 all I think. Too many goals, too little memory space.
I’ll just summed up a few parts. Discovery of a better fan (Haha Jermaine!). Memory Video (It was a refreshing video). PSD or PDS, just ain’t sure of the acronym (NCC, played with a rifle, doing drills with it). Hakim or Hakeem (A former USM came to our training and everyone was beyond scared). Last but not least, home (Slacked my way)
Things I look forward to: Orientation(NCC
! WOOTS!), getting our papers back, another hardcore PE lesson, and finally fasting month.
Nasi Lemak!!
This has nothing to do with the title. Anyway, I just finished my common test. Bore….
There was English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Lit, MT and DnT. To be honest, this point of year, I feel to be the most slackest moment of my life. Usually, I start revision 7-4 days earlier of the test. But this time, more of 7-4 hours earlier. Dude, whats happening to me? Maybe the constant face-to-face with the computer or is it that something personal is bothering me? Shhhh….
Anyway, overall, I would expect fairly good results. The only subjects that I’m concerned is my Mother Tongue, Geography (Even though it is a repeat of writing “population, water pollution, etc.”) and English. Literature, which happened today, was totally crap writing practice for me and others. Naufal drew on the Maths paper, which he hoped he get a few marks since he did ONLY 2 QUESTIONS! Geography was really really surprising. The first question about the names of Reservoirs, which only Weijie had quite a clear vision of the names.
I was like: “Bedok Reservoir, Pulau Tekong Reservoir,…??”
Irsyad was more professional. He make up a reservoir which he called Pulau Tangkap Air, which means in Malay, Catch Water Island. Totally got link with the Water Catchment Area.
So, Common Test unearthed a lot of weird answers and questions. One of the weirdest.
Searching for outfit for the Swinging 60s. I may go as Wade Robson. Lol, he’s a modern guy.
—————-
They got Justic League, we got Nasi Lemak.
They got Green Martian, we got Faizal.
They got Flash, we got Irsyad.
They got Superman, we got Harris.
They got Robin, we got Zul.
Nasi Lemak, a group of people who came together to face the teams. We are like the sidekicks, while I’m just the sidekicks-sidekicks. It was made on Sunday at Mosque Al-Istighfar. We were the dark horses, the underdogs, with a very crappy name Naufal came up after hearing Harris saying that we go eat Nasi Lemak after the tournament. So, I came super late, after I was late of being early while Naufal and Irsyad were early for being late. We rock at kicking balls, as in soccer balls, not testicles. I played at least one game. Others played 3 games. There were a few bad eggs around, being rough and also was very very vulgar at such a holy place. For once in our lives, we were being holy since we were playing in front of the mosque. So we came in FIRST! It was a total opposite of that morning. We were having really bad thoughts of it, but tables were turned. The strong defeated the stronger. The lousy ones defeated the strong. This year is defenitely the year of the underdogs. Spain won Euro, Nadal won Wimbeldon, some person won some trophy. Really this year is amazingly underdog-ish.
This is the ‘cheapskate’ throphy we got. It is actually plastic, coloured bronze and the only indication of first is the writings. Seriously beautiful.
#04 – No Calls Of JUSTICE!
Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore. We have been gaining independence for 43 years. We are like the modern atlantis. An island which is a perfect community. Well, we’re kinda heading there. Just hope there would be no natural disaster, like the flooding and submerging of atlantis. I’m so gonna have nightmares on this. Lol.
Anyway, today was 5.30 woke up and went to Johore at 6.15. 1 and a half hours jam which is totally crazy. Bloody checks. To summarise all that I just put in 3 words. Shop.Ants.Home.
So, whats up for tomorrow? I got a whole long day with the 2 malays for some soccer tournament at the MOSQUE!! Meeting them at Mac first. Hope I will rock then. Next up would be my private posts. Here I come personalized private space!
